Buccal Massage
The training is designed for already practicing masseurs, beauty therapists and cosmetologists.Intra-oral massage provides a deeper access to Anti Age face therapy and can be successfully integrated into any cosmetology procedure, performed as a separate procedure or combined with other manual massage.
During an buccal massage a combination of different techniques - aesthetic osteopathic techniques, myofascial release and lymph drainage.
There is an ongoing growth in demand for efficient and effective methods for face and neck anti-aging and visual correction. Together with a development of aesthetic medicine and apparatus cosmetology there have also appeared alternative offers for manual aesthetic face modeling methods. Intraolar massage is a result of several years work that allowed to combine effective manual Anti Age methods. This method is based on our body's physiological and biochemical characteristics of self-regeneration.
It is more effective to prevent the aesthetic defects of ageing by affecting facial tissues not outwardly, but from inside of mouth, where it is easier to access and feel them.
The most important is to understand the reasons of face ageing - in the core of this method is dealing with causes rather than consequences of this process. The ageing of facial skin is only external aspect of ageing - the problem is much bigger than that. The wrinkles that can be seen on the surface of skin mostly occur because of muscle deformation. The carcass of facial muscles doesn't loosen with years as many would say, quite the opposite - the facial muscles spasm just like elsewhere in a body. The facial muscles strengthening differently than in a body and for this reason while the muscle spams, skin and tissues are not able to adapt and just like coat lining begin to crinkle on the surface.
In some places these bends can be wrinkles - for example on the forehead and in the area around eyes - in some places they make empty "pockets" where lymphostasis increasingly form. A muscle that has high tone and which spasms tend to shorten in its length and pull with it other muscles, bones, skin, and thus destroys facial biomechanics.
Muscle contracture and subsequent lymphostasis are the ones to blame for aesthetic changes in face - for example wrinkles around nose and mouth, blurring of facial outlines and so called "bulldog cheeks." Due to lymphostasi the tissue become heavy and because of gravity pull themselves down. In order to solve this problem it is not enough to with lymphatic drainage, the problem must be solved in its roots and the muscle should be massaged and released from tension.
Intra-oral massage options:
During the intraoral massage a combination of different techniques is applied, such as aesthetic osteopathic techniques, myofascial release and lymph drainage. Intraoral combination of these methods on the facial carcass is more immediate and sometimes more effective than relaxation of the facial muscles from the face side. The techniques applied normalize facial muscle tone - when a muscle loosens up, its tone and former length restore. During the massage effect is made on muscles, its fascia and facial muscle ties. As a result of this procedure blood circulation, lymphatic and venous drainage improve and swelling in the face considerably reduce, because muscle that are loose also improve all internal processes. Wrinkles diminish, facial oval upraise and facial color and quality improve. Intraoral massage is the only effective weapon to reduce or even equalize the lines between nose and mouth, it is also handles the challenges in eye area - reduces puffiness and smooths eye dips between cheek and lower eyelid.
The possibilities of intraoral massages:
- Lifts and smooths the line between nose and mouth (nasolabial fold)
- Lifts facial oval
- Improves eye area
- Lifts lip corners
- Reduces wrinkles in cheeks
- Reduces puffiness in face and eye area
- Activate blood circulation
- Improves metabolism in tissues
- Relax the masseter and all chewing muscle.
Why Massage The Masseter?
The muscle is irritated through regular use – chewing, clenching, grinding. When this happens, many problems within its surrounding area can occur.
These include:
Headaches – Regular jaw clenching can lead to tension headaches. Unfortunately, most people simply massage their temporalis muscles during headaches. This is a reflex that most of us do. While it is helpful, we often neglect one other powerful muscle – the masseter.
Toothaches and Earaches – It also serves as a trigger point for pain. Muscle pain can radiate and can be felt on nearby teeth. Some people will experience toothache like symptoms – even without tooth problems. Pain can also radiate to the ear, which is quite near the area.
Tinnitus – Tinnitus or ringing of the ear can also be caused by masseter issues, especially because of its close location to the ears as well.
Bruxism – Teeth grinding is caused by jaw cleansing and may cause uncomfortable symptoms in the long run.
These include:
- Tension, stress and anxiety
- Loss of sleep
- Earache
- Headache
- Loose Teeth
- Sore Jaw
- Neck Pain
TMJ Syndrome – This condition affects the muscles of mastication and the temporomandibular joint. Often caused by bruxism, TMJ disorder can result to pain.
These may lead to:
- Discomfort while biting and chewing
- Popping or clicking when opening the mouth
- Earache
- Headache
- Migraine
- Dull ache across the face
- Jaw Tenderness
- Lock Jaw
- Difficulty opening and closing the mouth
After the training you get issued a certificate.
